Although Amr Zaki scored twice, Wigan coach Steve Bruce believes Antonio Valencia was the best player during the Latics' impressive win over Hull City. Wigan bagged their first points of the season after hammering Hull 5-0 in the Premiership on Saturday. Egyptian striker Amr Zaki stole the show after scoring two superb goals but Bruce thinks Ecuadorian winger Valencia was the most efficient player. "For me the outstanding player on the pitch was Valencia," the 47-year-old manager told BBC Sport. "Zaki is going to hit the headlines because he scored a couple of goals again, but Valencia's performance was fantastic." In-form frontman Zaki took his tally to three goals in as many Premiership games, setting the tone for a remarkable season in the elite competition.
