Inter Milan have completed the signing of Nigerian rising striker Victor Obinna from Chievo and hours later they loaned him to English Premier League side Everton. Calcio Italia revealed that the Italian Champions have been trying to sign the 21-year old player over the past couple of seasons and he even threatened to go on strike last season if he wasn't allowed to move to San Siro. Chievo couldn't resist to all that pressure and accepted to offload their highly rated striker this summer. The Nerrazzuri loaned him immediately to Everton in order to secure first team football as coach Jose Mourinho has plenty of options in attack. Obinna had just returned from the Olympics after leading the Super Eagles to the silver medal.
