England keeper Robinson moves to Blackburn

England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has left Tottenham Hotspur to join Blackburn Rovers for £3.5M.
Robinson, who signed a 5-year-deal with Rovers, had a below-par 2007-2008 season which saw him losing his place as England number one.
The 28-year-old also fell down the pecking order with Spurs boss Juande Ramos, who lured Brazil keeper Gomes from PSV.
Meanwhile, Rovers have allowed Aston Villa to open talks with veteran American guardian Brad Friedel, who is set to leave Ewood Park.
