Germany forward Lukas Podolski insists he won't join Cologne unless Bayern Munich tell him he is no longer wanted at Allianz Arena. Podolski, who has failed to impress since joining Bayern in 2006, was heavily linked with a return to Cologne. Although new Bayern coach Jurgen Klinsmann insisted that the 23-year-old was going nowhere, reports are still surfacing over his alleged departure. Podolski moved to clarify his stance. "If I am surplus to requirements here, and they want to offload me, I will only go to Cologne," he told Kicker magazine. Podolski impressed with eventual runners-up Germany in EURO 2008 after being deployed as a left winger.
