It's either Ronnie or Ade, says Galliani
Published in FilGoal on 09 - 07 - 2008

AC Milan vice-chairman Adriano Galliani declared that potential targets Ronaldinho and Emmanuel Adebayor will not be signed concurrently.
Milan have been persistently chasing the duo since last season in an attempt to reinforce their over-age squad.
However, Galliani believes that the presence of both players at San Siro is likely to have a negative effect on the team.
"Let's be clear about this: Adebayor is the alternative to Ronaldinho and vice versa," the Milan chief told the club's official site.
"We consider Kaka and Pato first team players, having two players of the caliber of Adebayor and Ronaldinho would create a lot of problems in the dressing room."
Adebayor Progress
In the same context, Galliani revealed that Milan received a positive note from Arsenal regarding Adebayor's bid.
The Gunners were reluctant to sell their top marksman over the past couple of months, but it seems that the Togolese could be wearing the Rossoneri shirt after all.
"We have received a note from Arsenal which says they are open to negotiate for Adebayor, contrary to what they said on 13 June," Galliani added.
"The English club have told us they are available to be contacted to negotiate for the player. This is a step forward, but the road is still long."
Adebayor's initial price tag was too high for the already indebted Milan, who admitted that they cannot compete with Barcelona if the Catalans issued a bid for the 24-year-old.
