AC Milan have pulled out of Emmanuel Adebayor's chase because of Arsenal's exaggerated demands. “There are continuous requests for Adebayor, but Arsenal are demanding £35m and that is impossible for clubs in Italy,” Milan vice president Adriano Galliani told the club's website. The Rossoneri are desperate to sign a high caliber striker to strengthen their frontline. The Togolese marksman has been a top target for Milan alongside with Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto'o. They faced tough competition as Barcelona have offered £25m but it was turned down. “When big clubs like Barcelona and Chelsea arrive it is impossible to compete because they are in a very advantageous fiscal situation.” The BBC's African Footballer of the Year produced a scintillating display last season scoring 30 goals for the Gunners.
