Hamburg are set to offload Argentine defender Juan Pablo Sorin due to his continuous injury problems. The Bundesliga said on their official web site that they are 'discussing a premature contract cancellation with the Argentine veteran'. However, German daily Bild reported that the presence of the 32-year-old at Nordbank Arena is impossible next season, and that he has already began looking for a new club. Sorin, who captained Argentina in the 2006 World Cup in Germany, had a serious knee surgery in October 2007, after which he rarely played with HSV. Hamburg Sport director Dietmar Beiersdorfer admitted that Sorin's injury is difficult to deal with and that a contract termination is on the cards.
