Holland winger Arjen Robben will miss his side's EURO 2008 Group C opener against Italy on Monday after picking up a groin injury. The Real Madrid man sustained the injury during Holland's morning training session. "The first place, this is obviously a huge setback for Arjen himself," Holland coach Marco van Basten was quoted as saying by EURO official website. "But also for the team this is a huge blow, as we have already lost Ryan Babel in that position. "Together with the medical staff, Arjen will work very hard on his recovery and we really hope he can rejoin the team very quickly." Robben's injury left Van Basten with a few options to choose from. He will likely field Dirk Kuyt and Klaas Jan Huntelaar on the flanks to support lone strike Ruud van Nistelrooy.
