Robin van Persie is a major doubt for Holland ahead of their EURO 2008 opener against Italy on Monday. "I think it will be hard to play the full 90 minutes already," Holland manager Marco Van Basten told euro2008.com. The Arsenal winger has been ruled out since last April with a thigh injury and only resumed full training on Wednesday. "He is making progress day by day, and we are satisfied with his development. But it is logical that, especially in endurance fitness, he still has to improve a bit," added the Dutch coach. However, the 24-year old player stressed that he is fit for the game but that it is not up to him to decide. The Oranji are playing in the group of death alongside with Italy, Romania and France.
