Egyptian keeper Sherif Ekrami revealed that he is on his way out of Feyenoord as he is looking for first team football. "I had a meeting with the new technical staff and they told me that Henk Timmer will remain the number one choice," Ekrami told FilGoal.com. "coach Gertjan Verbeek asked me to stay but I want to play regular football. "I talked to the bosses and they agreed to let me go." The 24-year old goalie played a single game last season against Willem II and since then he has been ruled out with a knee injury. Feyenoord put him on the transfer list and Ekrami confirmed that he has already some offers from Belgium and Netherlands. He was touted for a return to Ahli but he played down all these speculations. "I want to prove myself in Europe and I do not intend to go back to Egypt."
