Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld had a very emotional farewell as his tears flowed after Saturday's win against Hertha Berling 4-1. "I'm happy that I got through everything — today the tears rolled out, it was so emotional," said Hitzfeld who will move on to take Switzerland after the Euro 2008. "This was seven and half moving years at FC Bayern. Those were tears of happiness. We had a fairy-tale ending, Ollie (Kahn) and I." The German tactician led Bayern Munich to theirs 21st Bundesliga title to earn a personal record of 16 titles in Germany. Veteran keeper Oliver Kahn has brought down curtains on his career after 21 years spent at the Allianz Arena. "A piece of FC Bayern history has died," club president Franz Beckenbauer said. And for a few moments Oli was also very emotional. "It's always the greatest thing to hold the trophy plate in your hands. Twenty years of pro football — that's crazy. I did everything. At the moment, I feel just one thing: thankful." The 38-year old keeper helped Germany clinch the Bronze medal in 2002 where he won the Adidas Silver Boot.
