Ahli's satellite channel to be launched next season

Ahli's satellite channel will be launched next season in cooperation with Arab Radio and Television (ART), the club and the cable network said on Saturday.
"ART will be responsible for the channel's technical management," chanel director and ART official Mostafa Gomaa told FilGoal.com.
"The channel will not have the exclusive rights of broadcasting Ahli matches, but it will air them."
Bureaucratic issues delayed the launche of Ahli's satellite channel since the club agreed a deal with ART to initiate it in February 2007.
Ahli were also involved in disputes with the Egyptian FA over whether the Red Devils can exclusively broadcast their games.
The Egyptian FA sold the league rights to several networks in 2006.
Internal regulations do not clarify whether the FA have the right to oppose clubs' plans to solely sell their rights.
