Didier Drogba has added more heat to the crunch Champions League encounter between Chelsea and Liverpool as he launched a vicious attack on Reds boss Rafa Benitez. The Ivorian was angry by Benitez's recent comments, accusing him of over-reacting to challenges during games. "I was clear, after watching a lot of games I believe everyone would have the same idea. Everybody can see it in the games," Benitez said earlier. "Drogba is a fantastic player, that is clear, but he falls down too easily." Mean Attack Drogba responded fiercely to Benitez's words, stressing that his respect to the Spaniard is not the same anymore. "Benitez was a coach I used to respect a lot. I used to believe he had class but he has seriously disappointed me," the Chelsea hitman told L'Equipe. "His words have shown his weakness. A great coach will never attack a player so meanly. "If he doesn't want me to fall down he should focus on his team's game and tell his defenders to stop fouling me. "In the first leg, (Jamie) Carragher and (Martin) Skrtel didn't stop. At the end of the match I was covered in bruises. "Last year, I picked up a broken rib during the Champions League semi-final against Liverpool. "Unsurprisingly, Benitez didn't take note of this in his statistics."
