Liverpool coach Rafa Benitez expressed his frustration with recent speculation suggesting that the Reds were talking to another manager. Benitez was specifically annoyed by co-owner Tom Hicks' recent comments, accusing chief executive Rick Parry of contacting Jurgen Klinsman last year behind Benitez's back. Hicks slammed Parry and said 'he lacked communication with Rafa', in another episode of the Reds' board state of unrest this term. "I need to talk with the board…as soon as possible, I want to clarify everything," the Spaniard said after the 3-1 win over Blackburn on Sunday. "I was surprised with some meetings with another manager. I was surprised with the people that were in the meeting. "I feel my position is being undermined by it. I need to speak to all of the people. They were in a meeting together so I need to know something more." Benitez enjoyed a frosty relationship with the American owners George Gillet and Hicks throughout the season, which saw the team reaching the UEFA Champions League last four.
