Liverpool know they must find the net when they visit Chelsea in the second leg of the Champions League semi-finals on Wednesday. Despite the fact that Rafa Benitez's side were responsible for ousting Chelsea from the 2005 and 2007 semis, the Reds are yet to score at Stamford Bridge under the Spaniard's management. However, this time Benitez has no option but to see his team getting on the scoresheet, following the 1-1 first leg draw at Anfield. The Liverpool boss has to count on his compatriot Fernando Torres to provide goals against the stubborn hosts. "We have not played there with Fernando Torres," Benitez replied when he was reminded that his side have not scored a single goal at Chelsea since 2004. "Torres has the mentality to reach the final, he wants to play and he is very focused and can concentrate. "For him to be in a European Cup final in his first season at Liverpool is a dream he wants to experience." The former Atletico Madrid ace wishes to cap his big move to Liverpool with an appearance at the final of Europe's top club competition. "I have wanted to play against guys like John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho for a long time, and they do me an honor by giving me a tough time," he said. "Now I'm going to try to respond to them by getting a couple of goals against Chelsea. Everybody dreams about playing in the Champions League and in the space of a few months I have gone from watching it on TV to having a part in it.
Chelsea have an advantage "I have already got plenty of memories. My goal at the San Siro when we beat Inter Milan 1-0, the 4-0 win over Marseille, and my goal in the 4-2 win over Arsenal. "And now it is the turn of Chelsea. I don't ask myself questions. I just tell myself time and again that I have done the right thing to join Liverpool." Revenge Whilst Liverpool seek to end their goalscoring hoodoo at Bridge, Chelsea are eyeing revenge to their previous semi-finals exits by the Reds. Chelsea guardian Petr Cech, who witnessed both occasions, is hoping that his side can use their 'quality' to take revenge. "We have a squad which has a lot of quality, great players and we've been playing together for three seasons," Cech said. "This could be the advantage of this team. I think we all remember the moment we lost the semi-final, which is something we don't want to repeat. "This could be something that drives us on. We don't want that again. "Everyone knows what we are playing for. You don't need to speak. You need to play." Cech will carry on playing with a protective head gear and a chin strap to deal with serious injuries he suffered over the past couple of seasons. Key midfielder Frank Lampard could return to the squad after he missed the 2-1 Premiership win over Manchester United due to his mother's death.
