Zamalek forward Gamal Hamza is doubtful for his side's Egyptian League game against Al-Gaish on Saturday due to foot pain. The 27-year-old limped off Thursday's training session amid concerns over his availability for the important encounter. Hamza will undergo scans on Friday to find out whether he will be able to play against Al-Gaish. Zamalek coach Ruud Krol will be hoping to have Hamza at his disposal as in-form striker Amr Zaki will miss the match through suspension. Hamza has shown glimpses of his undoubted talent this season but never fulfilled his potential. His repeated attempts to dive whenever he is in good scoring positions do always hamper his progress. Despite his inconsistency, he remains an integral part of Zamalek's squad. The Cairo giants will be hoping to beat Al-Gaish to edge closer to second place in the league table and earn a Champions League spot. Zamalek lie fifth in the table with 34 points, two adrift of Al-Gaish and Petrojet, who share second spot.
