Arab Contractors coach Alaa Nabil was outraged by the referee's performance in his side's 3-2 defeat to ENPPI in the Egyptian Cup semi-final. ENPPI's Abdullah Ragab was sent-off in the 75th for a second bookable offense, but the petroleum club did not have much time to capitalize on their numerical advantage. Arab Contractors defender Mohamed Bayoumi was sent-off few minutes later, to the frustration of Nabil. "The referee tried to balance the game at the expense of applying justice," Nabil told Modern TV after the game. "I have no words to say, you all saw that happened tonight. Anyway, I congratulate ENPPI for booking a place in the final." On the other hand, ENPPI coach Hani Ramzi does not believe the referee's errors contributed to his side's win. "Even if he committed errors, none of them had any effect on the game," he insisted. ENPPI will face Zamalek in the Egyptian Cup final on May 25th.
