Depressed Albelda considering retirement

Valencia captain David Albelda said that he could be forced to quit football after being sidelined by coach Ronald Koeman.
The Dutch manager is implementing a reshuffle at Mestalla as he decided to exclude Albelda, Santiago Canizares and Miguel Angel Angulo from his plans.
"I am sidelined as they won't even let me train normally," he told daily El Mundo.
"I don't deserve what they are putting me through, and I don't know the reasons. The supporters must know.
"I am considering giving up football."
The 30-year-old midfielder, who has 40 caps for Spain, could easily lose his place in Luis Aragones' roster during next summer's Euro 2008.
