Sao Paulo chairman Juvenal Juvencio is suggesting that distressed striker Adriano must pray more in order to retain his lost form. The Brazilian, who is on loan from Inter Milan, was involved in a car crash with no less than four vehicles on Monday, and Juvencio is offering advice for the 24-year-old. "He needs to pray more," the Sao Paulo president was quoted by Calcio Italia. "A car crash at this time is very significant. I won't fine him, but I just want to speak to him so that I can help him." Adriano has been embroiled with drinking problems throughout the past couple of seasons, but Juvencio is adamant that the fallen 'Imperator' can regain his form with the Tricolor Paulista. "We have total faith in him as an athlete and a man, if that was not the case then we wouldn't have signed him," he added. "We're not worried. Adriano is doing very well and he'll be totally back to his best with us." Not to be Blamed Adriano's agent Gilmar Rinaldi ruled out that the player's drinking had a role to play in the accident, insisting that it was not the player's fault. "Drink was not a factor and Adriano is not to blame, a vehicle cut him up on the road, he lost control and hit another two or three cars," Rinaldi said. "But nothing really happened. No one was hurt and he is fine. He's just a bit sad that this has happened to him now."
