Chelsea suffered from another huge blow as Frank Lampard has been ruled out for several weeks with torn thigh muscle. The Blues announced on a statement on the club's website that the 29-year old midfielder will be sidelined for two weeks after picking the injury during last Wednesday's game crucial tie 4-4 against Aston Villa. The England midfielder is the fourth major injury at Stamford Bridge after Didier Drogba, John Terry and Florent Malouda. Coach Avram Grant hopes he could have him as soon as possible especially that Michael Essien, Didier Drogba, Salomon Kalou and John Obi Mikel will be leaving to play in the African Nations Cup.
