Bayern Munich winger Bastian Schweinsteiger admitted that the Bundesliga giants are missing the coolness of former striker Roy Makaay in front of goal. The Bavarians scored only four goals in their past seven encounters, despite hitting 27 in their first ten games in the Bundesliga. Even though strike duo Miroslav Klose and Luca Toni lead the goal scoring charts in Germany with nine goals each, Schweinsteiger still misses former hitman Makaay. "We miss ice cool Makaay, especially in recent matches, he is a player who can score three goals out of four chances," the Germany midfielder told Die Welt. The Dutchman joined Feyenoord in the summer from Bayern, where he scored 78 goals in four years with the German titans. The 32-year-old is among the top scorers in the Eredivisie, as he grabbed nine goals in 15 games for the Rotterdammers.
