Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has prevented his players from watching this weekend's fight between Ricky Hatton and Floyd Mayweather. The Spaniard doesn't want his men to stay awake until the early hours of Sunday morning and get distracted from Marseille crucial clash. "I have told them it is really important to rest, especially where we are playing late away and then away again soon after," said Benitez. "I hope the players will not be staying up to watch the fight, because we need rest when we play games close together. They have DVD's to tape it and watch later. It is important the players rest properly,” added the Reds boss. Liverpool are in a must-win situation against Marseille in France if they want to go through to the next round of the UEFA Champions League.
