Sevilla chairman Jose Maria Del Nido has slammed Tottenham Hotspur, vowing to take legal action against them after the London club snatched the signing of manager Juande Ramos. Spurs sacked former coach Martin Jol late on Thursday, following a 2-1 home defeat to Getafe in the UEFA Cup, and Ramos was swiftly lured from Sevilla two days later. However, the Sevilla president bemoaned the way by which the Spanish coach left the Andalucian club at the middle of the season, promising a rough reply. "They will get the response they deserve from Seville," Del Nido told The Sun on Tuesday. "We will channel our energy, force and all the means available to us into making sure Tottenham pay the consequences of a situation they have illegally and illegitimately provoked. "Here in Spain we're not used to treachery between football clubs. You'll see what we do with regard to FIFA." Apart from the Ramos swoop, Tottenham seem to line up another deal with the Sevillistas after the Spaniard declared interest in former employees Frederic Kanoute and Daniel Alves. However, Del Nido hinted that selling the influential duo will require a lot of effort from the Premiership side. "I doubt very much that Tottenham have the money to buy them," he said.
