The London-based club has just sacked Jol after his disappointing start of the season as the team is lying third from bottom in the Premier League standing and has conceded a home defeat against Getafe on home soil. Ramos has been linked with the job since last summer especially that he has revealed his desire to go through an English adventure. He has also been under pressure lately at Sevilla following the team's poor start of la Primera Liga as they are 11th of the 20-team table. Reports in England announced a list of candidates including Jurgen Klinsmann and Fabio Capello but the Spaniard is heading the race.
