Bayern Munich right-back Willy Sagnol is close on making a comeback to action after making huge progress recently in his rehabilitation program. "I'll be back soon," the French international told sports TV station DSF on Friday. Sagnol has been out since April when he underwent a knee surgery after picking up an injury against Milan in the Champions League. "I'll be training with the team and I'm delighted about it. It's been a very long time," he said. "I'm feeling great, and I've been really going for it on the training ground for ten days. I'm working off a solid basis now." Bayern coach Ottmar Hitzfeld confirmed the progress of the 30-year-old but said he won't rush Sagnol into full action. "He still has some way to go," Hitzfeld was quoted as saying by the club's website. "We can't name a point in time when he'll be playing again."
