Real Madrid forward Robinho has been ruled out of the UEFA Champions League game against Lazio on Wednesday after picking up an injury against Getafe on Sunday. The Brazilian winger was hurt during the game alongside Italian defender Fabio Cannavaro but the latter was able to recover and get into the squad for the trip to Roma. Robinho joined a list of injured players that includes key figures like German defender Christoph Metzelder and Portugal's Pepe. But coach Bernd Schuster will be more than delighted to see his top marksman Ruud Van Nistelrooy back on the field after recovering from injury. The Spanish Champions won their Champions League opener against Werder Bremen 2-1.
