Hat-trick hero Torres leads Liverpool past Reading

Spanish striker Fernando Torres hit three goals to earn Liverpool a 4-2 win, on Wednesday, over Reading and a place in the Carling Cup fourth round.
The Reds went ahead in the 23rd minute thanks to a magnificient solo effort from Yossi Benayoun. Not for too long as Bobby Convey leveled the score after just eight minutes.
Torres showed an explosive performance in the second half scoring a hat-trick, 49, 72 and 86 while John Halls pulled one back in the 64th minute.
At the Emirate stadium, Arsenal scored two goals in only seven minutes to edge past Newcastle. Niklas Bendtner broke the deadlock in the 83rd minute and Denilson secured the victory one minute before time.
