Hassan's assist not enough for Anderlecht

Belgian champions Anderlecht where held to a 1-1 home draw by Rapid Vienna on Thursday in the first leg of the UEFA Cup second round.
Pharaohs captain Ahmed Hassan dished out an assist to Turkish striker Serhat Akin who opened the score in the 11th minute.
But the hosts failed to keep their advantage as Steven Hofmann snatched the equalizer 7 minutes from time.
Anderlecht will have now to do all the work in Vienna when both sides meet in two weeks from now.
Elsewhere Tottenham, where Egyptian midfielder Hossam Ghaly plays, thrashed Anorthosis 6-1 at White Hart lane.
