Chelsea have agreed to sell Dutch winger Arjen Robben to Primera Liga champions Real Madrid, the Premiership side announced on Wednesday. The transfer is subject to the player agreeing personal terms and passing a medical, Chelsea said on their official website. After he was elected as president of Real, Ramon Calderon promised to bring Robben to Santiago Bernabeu and his wish has been finally granted after lengthy negotiations. Robben will become the third Dutchman to join the Spanish giants following the signings of Wesley Sneijder and Royston Drenthe. Los Merengues have revealed earlier on Wednesday that they reached an agreement with Manchester United to sign Argentinean defender Gabriel Heinze. Heinze opted for a switch to Real after his move to Liverpool was blocked by United manager Alex Ferguson, who didn't want to lose the player to the Merseysiders.
