Ahli are set to sell international midfielder Mohamed Shawki after his relationship with manager Manuel Jose Da Silva seems to have reached a dead end. FilGoal.com knew that the board took the decision in the past few hours but will announce it after the Hilal match in the CAF Champions League next Sunday. The 26-year-old midfielder will miss that game for automatic ban but he has already been ruled out of the Super Cup game and the league opener's upon Jose's request. The international player had a dispute with his coach just before the Super Cup match and since then he hasn't shown up on the pitch. Shawki has an offer on the table from Middlesbrough and he should have a trial period at the Riverside just after Egypt and Ivory Coast match, in France, next Wednesday. Ahli's marketing director, Adli Al-Qaeyi had previously announced that Shawki and Meteb could be allowed to leave in January. But it seems that Shawki is on his way out if he succeeds in the three-day trial period.
