Ahli assistant coach Hossam Al-Badri said his side's task against Esperance on Saturday will not be an easy one, given the Tunisians' eagerness to grasp their last chance of reaching the CAF Champions League semis. Esperance are yet to register any win in the group stage as they lost twice to Sudan's Hilal and Ahli and drew with Ivory Coast outfit ASEC Mimosas. Their 3-0 defeat to Ahli at Cairo International Stadium will further motivate them to do better, Al-Badri believes. "The match will be difficult. We will be looking to maintain our position on top of the group While Esperance will be definitely aiming for revenge," he was quoted as saying by the club's official website. "The match will be staged at El-Menzah, Esperance's venue, which is another factor in their favor." A victory for Ahli will secure their place in the semis as they seek to win an unprecedented third successive Champions League title. "I'm very confident Ahli players can win to maintain the club's dominance in Africa," Al-Badri added. The Cairo giants lie on top of Group B with nine points from three matches, three ahead of second-placed Hilal.
