Egypt added another Gold Medal in the 2007 All African Games after the Egyptian Volleyball team beat Tunisia 3-1 in the final on Sunday. The Egyptian team were a set down after Tunisia won the first set 25-21, but the lively quartet Hamdi Al-Safi, Abdullah Abdul-Salam, Ahmed Salah and Mohamed Abdel-Moniem turned the game in Egypt's favor. The Egyptians won three straight sets 25-16, 25-20 and 25-19 to settle the game. The Volleyball team followed in the footsteps of the Handball team, who also stroke gold after beating hosts Algeria in the final.
