Brazilian striker Ewerthon has signed a one-year-loan deal to join German Bundesliga champions Stuttgart from Spanish Primera Liga side Real Zaragoza, the German club said on Sunday. Stuttgart have an option to sign the 26-year-old on permanent basis when his contract at the club expires next summer. A spokesman from VFB revealed that the former Borussia Dortmund forward will catch up with the team's pre-season training camp. Ewerthon is the third Brazilian to join a Bundesliga team in the space of three days, as compatriots Ailton and Carlos Alberto have recently signed for Duisburg and Werder Bremen respectively.
