The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have given Ismaili a deadline date of July 19th to pay the delayed contract dues of duo Sayed Moawad and Mohamed Fadl. Ismaili skipper Moawad recently filed a complaint to the Players Affairs Committee in the EFA, demanding EGP 450,000 before the new season's start. Striker Fadl followed in Moawad's steps, asking for EGP 320,000. "Ismaili have until July 19th to pay the delayed players' fees, otherwise the players will be free to terminate their contracts and leave the club," Players Affairs Committee president Mohamed Ali told FilGoal.com. On the other hand, the EFA reverted on the decision to allow the Dervishes to participate in the Arab Champions League (ACL) next season. Competitions committee president Nayef Ezzat announced that Ismaili cannot enter the competition as they are already involved in the African Confederation Cup. Ezzat also said that Ismaili's request to postpone their opening league game for the new season was rejected.
