The Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF) has fixed the 7-9 September as the new date for the Group two key tie between Egypt and Burundi. The CAF informed the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) of the new dates without saying whether it would be in Rwanda or Burundi. The game has been switched to neighbors in Rwanda as the stadium in Burundi is being renovated. On the other hand the Egypt and Botswana game in the final round of the African qualifiers has been postponed to 12-14 October. The Pharaohs are on top of Group two with 8 points two ahead of second-placed Burundi.
