Dutch striker Roy Makaay and Paraguayan Roque Santa Cruz have been given the green light by Bayern Munich to move on as they won't be among the main elements for the next season. "Roy Makaay will be released if Miroslav Klose joins us straight away. That's what we've told his agent," said Karl-Heinz Rummenigge. The club have already strengthened their front line with Jan Schlaudraff and Italian World Cup winner Luca Toni. With the arrival of Klose their participation will be much compromised. "Roque Santa Cruz has told us he would like to leave the club. We've informed him of the circumstances in which that could happen. We'll have to wait and see how it develops." The Bavarian giants have already offloaded Peruvian Claudio Pizzaro who switched to Chelsea on a free transfer. "I can confirm we won't come under any financial pressure. We've recognized the need for a major rebuilding exercise, in order to deliver successful and attractive football next season." Bayern have until now six new signings who are Jan Schlaudraff, Luca Toni, Hamit Altintop, Frank Ribery, Jose Ernesto Souza and Marcel Jensen.
