Ahli striker Flavio Amado has received a call-up to Angola's 23-man squad for the African Cup of Nations qualifiers match against Eritrea. The 27-year-old was rested by Ahli after the Cairo giants secured their third successive Egyptian League title but will now have to link up with his Angolan teammates. He played a pivotal role in Ahli's triumph, finishing as the league's top scorer with 17 goals, one ahead of teammate Emad Meteb. Goalkeepers Sena and Kivota, defender Eduardo and midfielder Nelo were handed their first call-up to Angola squad. The Palancas Negras are on top of Group F with nine points from three matches, five ahead of second-placed Eritrea.
