Juventus have insisted on Saturday that they know nothing about Didier Deschamps's reported departure despite guiding the Bianconeri to Italian Serie A promotion. Italy's Sky television said earlier on Friday that the French coach's relationship with Juventus has reached a dead end and that he may move to Lyon after the resignation of Gerrard Houllier. "Juventus have not received any letter of resignation from Didier Deschamps. Therefore the coach will be on the bench as normal for today's game against the Mantova," the Italian giants said in a statement on their official website. "The general executive manager Jean-Claude Blanc will continue with talks, which already started during the week, in order to quickly clear up the issue with Deschamps." Former Monaco boss Deschamps took charge of Juventus after Fabio Capello's move to Real Madrid following the Italian match-fixing scandal which saw the team demoted to Serie B. Despite the departure of a host of stars, Deschamps managed to lead Juventus back to the top flight but he hasn't enjoyed a honeymoon with the club's board, who hasn't assured the 38-year-old of his future.
