Al-Saied out for six weeks with a knee injury
Published in FilGoal on 23 - 05 - 2007

Ahli midfielder Tarek Al-Saied will be sidelined for the rest of the season after sustaining a knee injury that will rule him out of action for six weeks.
The Ahli medical staff diagnosed a partial anterior knee ligaments tear for the 29-year-old after colliding with teammate Akwetey Mensah in Wednesday's training session.
Al-Saied insisted that the incident was accidental and that Mensah's tackle was anything but deliberate.
"It was a normal challenge, Akwetey did not intend to hurt me," the former Anderlecht midfielder told FilGoal.com.
On the other hand, Ahli's defensive problems mounted ahead of Ismaili clash on Friday, as Wael Gomaa and Mohamed Sedik are doubtful for the game.
The duo sustained injuries in Ahli's 2-0 league defeat against Zamalek on Monday, and a late fitness test will be made on Thursday to determine whether they can take part in the game.
Ahli are missing key defenders Shadi Mohamed and Emad Al-Nahhas who are rested, while Ahmed Al-Sayed is suspended for the game.
