Masri defender Karim Zekri expressed his concerns about the delay of his move to Zamalek as no official agreement between the two teams has been concluded yet. Zamalek have announced recently that they will sign the 22-year-old on a four-year-deal worth EGP 2M. However, the Egypt international claims that despite Masri's agreement with Zamalek over the move, he is yet to sign an official contract. "Zamalek agreed terms with my club to sign me and I accepted the offer, but did not sign any contract yet," Zekri told FilGoal.com. "I received some other offers, but I opted for a Zamalek switch because I admire the club and the offer was financially too good to be turned down." Zekri denied rumors saying that he opted to choose Zamalek rather than Ahli, claiming that the latter did not show any interest in signing him. "It is not true that I turned down an Ahli offer in order to play for Zamalek as they haven't tabled any bid," he added.
