Inter Milan ensured they are still the only unbeaten club in the Italian Serie A after coming from a two-goal deficit to earn a 2-2 home draw with Palermo on Saturday. Andrea Caracciolo fired the visitors in front as early as the third minute before Christian Zaccardo doubled the lead one minute after re-start. Argentinean striker Julio Cruz pulled one back six minutes past the hour mark before Brazilian prolific frontman Adriano notched the equalizer eight minutes later. Inter are on top of the league table with 81 points, a massive 16 ahead of second-placed AS Roma who crushed Sampdoria 4-0 to ease their disappointment after their humiliating 7-1 Champions League defeat to Manchester United. Roma skipper Francesco Totti scored twice in the 21st and 66th minutes before two late strikes by Matteo Ferrari and Christian Panucci secured the victory. AC Milan kept up their push for a UEFA Champions League spot following a 3-1 victory over Messina, thanks to goals from Kaka, Giuseppe Favalli and Brazilian striker Ronaldo. Milan are fourth with 50 points, one ahead of fifth-placed Palermo who played a game more.
