Inter Milan and AS Roma were held to draws on Sunday while AC Milan were handed a surprising 2-0 defeat by Palermo in the Serie A. The results left Palermo in charge of the table with 15 points, leading Inter Milan on goal difference. Roma are third two points adrift of them while Milan, who started the season with an eight-point deduction, are 14th on four points but still have one match in hand. In Roma, Francesco Totti scored from inside the area to give Roma a 1-1 draw with Chievo. The visitors went ahead thanks to a solo effort from Sergio Pellissier who danced his way past the defenders before rounding the keeper and flicking home. Roma's Christian Panucci and Chievo's Simone Tiribocchi had goals but were ruled out for offside. In another match, Inter Milan were held to a goalless draw by Udinese in an entertaining encounter. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Vincenzo Iaquinta squandered golden chances for Inter and Udinese respectively as both sides settled for a stalemate. In Milan, Palermo scored twice after the break to stun Milan 2-0 and leapfrog Inter to the summit. Mark Bresciano opened the score line three minutes after the break while Amauri sealed the win in the 74th minute.
