Published in FilGoal on 18 - 09 - 2006

Milan made perfect use of set-pieces to cruise past hosts Parma 2-0 on Sunday in their Serie A clash.
Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf put Milan ahead in the 26th minute when his 25-meter free-kick sailed over the bar and went past goalkeeper Alfonso De Lucia.
Brazil's playmaker Kaka penetrated the area before being downed by De Lucia five minutes from time. He converted the resulted spot-kick himself to seal the victory.
Milan, who started the league with an eight-point deficit after being found guilty in the sporting fraud case that hit the Italian football last season, are now -2 in the 17th spot. Parma, with one point, lie 14th.
Elsewhere, visitors Roma beat 10-man Siena 3-1 to take charge of the Serie A table.
The game was balanced till Siena's Ezio Brevi was handed a red card after a harsh challenge on Daniele De Rossi.
Brazilian midfielder Rodrigo Taddei, who scored in the 4-0 drubbing of Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League in the midweek, put Roma ahead in the 47th minute after being fed by Simone Perrotta.

Roma
David Pizarro poked home from close range in the 70th minute to double the visitors' lead.
Mario Frick gave Siena some hope in the 87th minute but Stefano Okaka Chuka posted the third goal in the stoppage time to secure the three points.
Roma are in the first spot with six points while Siena remain ninth with three points.
Palermo edged Lazio 2-1 earlier on Sunday to register their sixth point and move up to second place, trailing Roma on goal difference.
David Di Michele scored both Palermo's goals in the 11th and 38th minutes while Tommaso Rocchi scored the consolation goal for Lazio.
In other matches, Udinese beat Torino 2-0, Livorno beat Fiorentina 1-0 while Empoli and Ascoli played 1-1 draws against Chievo and Messina.
On Saturday, Inter Milan were held to a 1-1 draw by Sampdoria and Reggina edged Cagliari 2-1.
