Despite going through a tough time after a huge 5-1 defeat against Ajax a week ago in the Eredivisie, and losing to injuries many key players, PSV coach Ronald Koeman believes his side is up to the challenge against Liverpool in the quarter final of the UEFA Champions League and can go through. "Liverpool will have to be on their game to beat us, even though we have problems with injuries," he was quoted saying on the UEFA website. PSV will be without ivorian striker Arouna Kone, centre-back Alex and playmaker Ibrahim Affelay when they host the Reds on Tuesday. Though, the Dutch legend bets on his team to create a surprise. "To win games at this level you need a fit team, but in this competition over two matches there are surprises. Arsenal know that and Liverpool will know that too. "You always have chances in these sorts of matches. Liverpool are in form and I expect a match like we had in the group stage against them. It's going to be very tough, but if it's 0-0 or 1-0 we will be happy." He added. Koeman has a brilliant record against English sides as he eliminated Liverpool and Manchester United last season when he was in charge of Benfica and this season he knocked out Arsenal in the previous stage.
