Ahli Jeddah have snatched a 3-2 home victory over Al-Taie in the Saudi League on Friday, four days ahead of their Arab Champions League clash against Zamalek. Salah Al-Deen Aqal stunned the home crowd in the 12th minute but Malek Moeaz equalized for Ahli in the 31st minute. Tunisian striker Haykel Guemamdia put Ahli ahead on the hour mark but was cancelled out by Salman Al-Shamri's strike 13 minutes later. Skipper Hussein Abdul-Ghani notched home five minutes from time to help Ahli grab a precious victory. The victory moved Ahli to the fifth place in the league table with 22 points while Al-Taie lie eighth on 17 points. The Saudi giants will host Cairo powerhouse Zamalek on Tuesday to determine Group A leaders as both sides have already secured their place in the ACL semis. Elsewhere, Al-Nassr came from behind to earn a 2-1 win over Qadiseya and ease their relegation worries. Moroccan striker Mohamed Madihi fired Qadiseya in front in the 24th minute before Diaa Haroun leveled the score eight minutes after re-start from the penalty spot. Abdul-Rahman Al-Bishi scored the winner one minute before the final whistle. Al-Nassr climbed to seventh place with 18 points while Qadiseya remained in the 11th spot on 14 points.
