Spanish side Valencia came from behind twice to claim a 2-2 away draw with Inter Milan in the first-leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 on Wednesday. Esteban Cambiasso opened the score line in the 29th minute when he nodded in on the rebound after Zlatan Ibrahimovic's volley was parried by Valencia keeper Santiago Canizares. David Villa leveled the score four minutes past the hour mark after curling a stunning free-kick from 30 yards which left Inter keeper Julio Cesar with no chance. Inter full-back Maicon restored the hosts' lead in the 76th minute when he exchanged the ball with Julio Cruz before slotting home past Canizares. David Silva salvaged a precious draw for Valencia after he sent a powerful first-timer from the edge of the area into the back of the net. A goalless draw for Valencia at Mestalla would be enough to send the Spanish side through while Inter need to grab an away victory.
