Zamalek's Tunisian duo Wissem El-Abdi and Yamen ben Zekri will go on trial Thursday on charge of assaulting a policeman. Defender Zekri and newly-signed El-Abdi were involved in a dispute with a policeman on Monday when the latter told them not to stop their car in front of 'Atlas' hotel in Al-Mohandessin district, Cairo. However, the dispute developed into a brawl and the duo went to the custody where they spent Tuesday night. They were released after paying a bail of EGP 500 each but will have to go on trial on Thursday after Zamalek secretary general Alaa Mekled's attempts of resolving the matter failed. Zamalek will already face Olympic in the Egyptian League on Friday without defenders Wael Al-Qabani and Mahmoud Mahmoud due to injuries. It remains to be seen whether El-Abdi and Zekri will be able to take part in the match or not.
