Egypt crashed out of the FIVB Men's World Championship after losing against Argentina 3-1 on Wednesday. Argentina won the first set 25-18 before Egypt leveled in the second 31-29. But the Pharaohs lost two successive sets with the same score, 25-20, as they failed to take advantage of their last chance to secure qualification to the next round. The defeat left Egypt at the bottom of Pool A with just six points, four behind leaders Poland, who stunned hosts Japan 3-0.
