European champions Barcelona opened road for title hopefuls Sevilla and Real Madrid to catch them on the Spanish League summit after being held to a 1-1 draw by Deportivo La Coruna at the Raizor on Saturday. Ronaldinho put Barcelona ahead five minutes from the interval when he slammed a low spot-kick home after Javier Saviola was clipped inside the area. Deportivo equalized in the 72nd minute when Juan Rodriguez poked home on the rebound after Victor Valdez parried Fabian Estoyanoff's penalty-kick into his path. Barca now have 20 points from nine games, with Sevilla and Real Madrid having 18 and 17 points respectively with one game in hand for both of them. Real Madrid will play Celta Vigo while Sevilla will host Osasuna in La Liga action on Sunday.
