Egyptian striker Mohamed Zidan was left out of Werder Bremen's squad again as the Bundesliga leaders were held to a 1-1 draw by Energie Cottbus on Saturday. Cameroonian forward Francis Kioyo put Cottbus ahead in the 59th minute with a long-range shot before Ivan Klasnic headed the equalizer home 17 minutes later. Bremen now have 20 points, two ahead of Stuttgart who snatched second spot after beating Alemannia Aachen 4-2. Zidan was also dropped off the squad that registered a midweek 3-0 victory over Levski Sofia in the Champions League. Sources in the Egyptian national team said that he is injured but Bremen's official website didn't put the player on the injury list. On Sunday, Schalke will host Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga's most exciting fixture of the week. German double winners Bayern are in fourth place with 16 points.
